Student Programmes Ireland Ltd Photo Competition 2020

Have you a great, fun picture from your time in Ireland so far?!?! Well if so, GREAT because……………….

We are delighted to announce that the Student Programmes Ireland Ltd Photo Competition 2020 is now open!

The theme of this competition is “IRELAND THROUGH MY EYES”

This competition is open to all students who have taken part in an academic programme with Student Programmes Ireland Ltd from Sept 2020 onwards.

We would like this competition to be fun, lighthearted and a COVID- 19 Free Zone!

Entries to be emailed to photocomp.spil@gmail.com on or before December 09 at 11:59pm.

Entries will then be posted on our Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/studentprogrammesirelandltd/) from Friday 11 December for voting to take place. Its very simple, the Photo with the most likes by Wednesday 16 December at 11:59pm wins.

There are three prizes available €100 for 1st place, €75 for second place and €50 for third place.

So get those phones out and get snapping!

  • Student Programmes Ireland Ltd is organizing a photograph competition titled IRELAND THROUGH MY EYES, which will take place from Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday December 16 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
  • Each participant in the competition is a high school student who is currently doing a semester, term or school year in Ireland. The photograph should be sent by email to photocomp.spil@gmail.com
  • The photographs from the participants will be posted on the website www.spil.ie and posted on the Student Programmes Ireland Ltds social networks (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) in the part of this competition from  The profile of each participant in the competition will include the first name, the destination where he/she is studying. Student Programmes Ireland Ltd can freely adapt the photographs and in particular to carry out all forms of variation to allow the distribution on social networks. The participants guarantee Student Programmes Ireland full enjoyment and entire rights assigned against any disturbance, claim or eviction. The present use of the photographs is consented by each  participant to free title, which he/she expressly accepts. Any other use will be subject to special request from the participants.
  • WARNING : Participants in the competition are informed and expressly accept that their photograph be uploaded and therefore made publicly accessible on sites and social networks.
  • Each photograph will be put to a vote for one week. The participants may try to win the first prize. The photographs will be available on Instagram from Friday December 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, December 16 2020 at 11.59 pm. Voters in the competition must like and comment on their preferred photograph to then validate their choice. Participants will have the opportunity to share the publications related to the competition on their personal Facebook account (s) and Instagram. The video that obtained the most votes from voters on Wednesday, December 16 2020 at 11.59 pm will win the first prize worth € 100. Any participant suspected of fraud may be excluded from the competition by Student Programmes Ireland Ltd without the latter having to justify it. Any incomplete identification or participation, erroneous or illegible, intentionally or not, or produced in a form other than that provided for in these regulations will be considered null. Student Programmes Ireland Ltd is reserves the right to ask any participant to justify the above conditions exhibited. Anyone who does not meet these conditions or refuses to do so justify will be excluded from the game and may not, in case of winning, benefit from his prize. The participation in the competition implies full acceptance of these rules.
  • The top three photographs with the most will receive a prize. The first prize winner will win a gift card worth € 100, second place €75 and third place €50. Gifts are neither exchangeable nor refundable in whole or in part, but are transferable to a clearly identified third party.
  • On Wednesday December 16 2020 at 11:59 p.m., the competition will be closed. The participant who gets the most votes will win first prize.
  • Each participant will be informed, in the days following the end of the competition of the results. The winner waives claiming any compensation from the organizing company resulting from damage caused by the acceptance and / or use of the prize. In case force majeure, Student Programmes Ireland Ltd reserves the right to replace the advertised prize with a prize of equivalent value. Due to acceptance of its prize, the winners authorize Student Programmes Ireland Ltd to use their first name, city, and image for promotional purposes and media, internal or external, without this use giving rise to any consideration other than the prize won.
  • Participation in this competition implies unreserved acceptance of the present regulations as well as the terms of participation.
  • Student Programmes Ireland Ltd cannot be held responsible if, in the event where circumstances required, this competition had to be modified or postponed. Student Programmes Ireland cannot be held responsible if, for any reason independent of its will, technical malfunctions, computer bugs or any other technical problem would impact the smooth running of the game or the list of winners. The complainants could not then claim any endowments whatsoever.
  • Student Programmes Ireland Ltd further informs that, given the characteristics of the Internet network, such as the free collection of information disseminated and the difficulty or even impossibility of controlling the use that could be made by third parties, it cannot be held responsible for any misuse of this information.
  • Student Programmes Ireland Ltd declines all responsibility in the event of malfunction of the Internet network, telephone lines, telephone receipt preventing the smooth running of the Contest.
  • Student Programmes Ireland Ltd declines all responsibility in the event of technical failure, anomaly, hardware and software of any kind (virus, bug …) caused on the system of the Contest Participant, to its computer equipment and the data stored therein and to consequences that may result from it on his personal, professional or commercial.
  • Each participant in the vote, has the right to access, rectify or delete data concerning him/her.
  • The reproduction, representation or use of all or part of the elements composing the game offered there are strictly prohibited.
